The Educational Community and the Resources and Services of the Centre are at your disposal; you will have the chance to develop your activity, both in the educative field in Initial Training and in Training for the Employment as well as in your personal development field taking part in continuous educational activities for teachers and in collaboration with teams and projects which would help to achieve the aims and objectives of the Institute.

 We are convinced that with everyone's hope and effort we can reach the level of satisfaction allowing us to feel proud of being an active part of such an important project as the one represented by IEFPS Don Bosco.

Our Institute was founded more than 50 years ago. These are the most important events in this long journey:

Private Institute

  • 1960  "CIUDAD LABORAL DON BOSCO" was founded as a Social Initiative centre of Gipuzkoa Kutxa Savings Bank  ruled by Salesians.
  • 1977 It became a Lay Institute.

Public Institute (ander the authority of the Basque Government)

  • 1989  Tutored Institute of the Employment Department of the Basque Government (Automotion)
  • 1991  Tutored Institute of the Employment Department of the Basque Government (Cold and Climatization Installations  Maintenance)
  • 1994 "CIUDAD LABORAL DON BOSCO" was stablished as Public Institute
  • 1998 Named :
  • 2000 Obtaining of ISO 9002 :1994 Certification in Initial Training ER 1669/2/00 certificate
  • 2002 Development  of the Strategic Plan 2003-2007 2003-2007 ( 30-01-2003 endorsement)
  • 2003 Obtaining  of ISO 9001:2000 in Initial Training and Continuous Training
  • 2005 EFQM external evaluation
  • 2006 Renovation of ISO 9001:2000 certificate in Initial and Continuous Training
  • 2007 Obtaining of silver Q certification according to  EFQM european model
  • 2010 50th anniversary
